An overview of the trip;
So I stayed with 2 families whilst in Spain. For the first 2 weeks, during the weekdays, me, my host brother Ignacio and Doruk, another exchange person from Turkey, we all went to the beach, all along the coast at different spots each day. We went to the centre, saw the big tropical park, which I really liked, went to a carnival fair and chilled out at swimming pools.
In the evenings, we'd go out for food, getting to try lots of different restaurants. Lots of great seafood places along the beach, eating calamari, sardines etc.
On weekends, we did like mini long weekend holidays to Almeria and Granada, sightseeing and going to amazing beaches to do snorkelling.
The snorkelling was my favourite part of the trip, the water is so clear and warm, it was great for snorkelling adventures. We also went on a "total wipeout" course which was a good laugh.
For the last week, I stayed with a different family and spent the week with my host sister, Sofia.
On the weekend, we went sailing all together, that was a brilliant day out. We sailing a couple of miles along the coast, stopping to do swimming and fishing.
During the week, we went to the beach, met up with Sofia's friends and went out in the evenings.
Met lots of great people, ate some lush food and had a nice, relaxing time.
With the Aranda’s, next to me is Doruk from Turkey who stayed with us as well, going on a boat trip in Almeria. We went along the coastline, had a tour guide show us the caves, here are some pictures of what we saw, |

Me with Ignacio and his sister Carmen, on a beach in Granada, we went on this total wipeout course, which was great. |

Us back at the house having breakfast, tried lots of different foods and dishes whilst in Spain, |
Ignacio, Doruk and me going sightseeing across Malaga, here above the harbour. |
All of us together for a picture |
In Almeria, the water was so clear and blue, great day at the beach, here with my host dad |
With Ignacio and Doruk again, it was great to meet these two, had some good laughs |
Me and Ignacio did loads of snorkelling at every beach we went to, definitely recommend people to bring a snorkelling mask with them to Spain , the water is sooo clear and warm, lots of fish to see as well. |
Another picture together at the beach |
During the second week we went on a holiday trip for a long weekend and stayed in Almeria, here’s us chilling in the resort |
So we went to this beach in Almeria, a different one to the above, it’s where the aeroplane chase scenes from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade were filmed, pretty good view as well. |
Thank you for everything, it was a great trip |
