Peace Poster 2024 2025
Lions Clubs International Peace Poster
The theme for this year is "Peace Without Limits"
The District winner for 2024 -2025 is Lorelei from Forres Sandle Manor school in Fordingbridge.
On Friday 6 December Lions Alastair Ward and Stephen Sherring attended Forres Sandle Manor School in Fordingbridge to present Lorelei, the District's winner of the 2024 Peace Poster Competition, with her certificate and prize. Lorelei is pictured holding a copy of her artwork, the original of which is now heading for the national competition finals. Pictured with her is Club president Lion Alastair Ward and her art teacher Clare Dixon-Clarke whose enthusiasm and commitment to the competition has been fantastic for the second year running. The presentation of the winner's certificate and prize was attended by her father and a group of Year 4 students, all of whom were delighted to learn that Lorelei's artwork had won the District Competition and she was warmly congratulated on her success. The annual art competition is organised by Lions Clubs International and it gives the opportunity to students to express themselves graphically on a topic of global significance.

Burgate School WinnerCarina YMy Peace Poster has bright colours in an infinite universe where there are no limits. The dove protects us, showing us love that goes beyond the limitations war brings us. |
Orrin M in second place.I think that peace means kindness, love, and no war. It is a happy thing, showing hope and that there is no limit to goodness and love. The world can be puzzling, but if you look at it from a different angle, it is fixable! |

Albie Hazell 3rd placePeace means that there is no fighting and there is calm. Peace without limits is important so there is infinite peace, and everyone is kind. It would be a nice world. My Peace Poster shows limits because it infinity symbol, a dove, and a sky of stars. It also has flags to show each country and peace within each country. |

Angelina G Runner upPeace means that anyone can do they want in life without anyone else holding a grudge. It means people should find the calm to help them move forward peacefully. With no limits on peace, there is joy. Life isn't long enough to hold onto the bad things. My poster shows that when the dark cloak of war is lifted away, we find peace and joy! |
