Peace Poster Competition 2015 / 2016
The theme this year is "Shared Peace"
Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions Club is proud to announce that over 500 local students from Ringwood, Burgate and Forres Sandle Manor Schools were among those participating this year. Pictured here are the winning entries from all three schools. There are also entries for the Junior Competition and several Highly Commended entries for all competitions.
The winning entry for the Lions International Peace Poster Competition from Ringwood School was submitted by Martha Copplestone aged 12.Martha's message is-: "Sharing Peace as one; individuals together, respecting each other's differences."Congratulation to Martha who's Poster is the winner of our Lions District Competition and now progresses to the National round in December. |

I have included the doves in my picture after seeing Picasso’s dove image. I also included some hands that show all the different countries united. Congratulations. Runner up in the Lions International Peace Poster Competition from Burgate School was submitted by Isobel Sallows year 7.It symbolises war and peace so on the war side there are houses on fire and it is dark – there are black and white people living apart. On the peace side there is sunshine – lovely houses - the black and white people are together, holding hands. |
