Etta in her Buggy

Etta

We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country nestled alongside the rugged terrain of the New Forest.  Taking our children for a walk through the New Forest National Park is something that most of us can do with relative ease.

Unfortunately, Etta pictured above, aged 4, was unable to experience this until recently due to a medical condition which prevented her from walking very far without the need of a wheelchair, and of course, most traditional wheelchairs are unsuitable for off-road excursions. Her mother Louise reached out to Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions Club explaining that Etta simply loved visiting the New Forest and needed help with the costs of an all-terrain buggy to help her explore the National Park more fully.  Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions Club were happy to donate £800 towards the cost of an all-terrain buggy which Etta is seen enjoying in the photo above. Lion President Alastair Ward explained that "the beauty of the New Forest should be enjoyed by everyone and we were only too happy to help make this happen for Etta here".

The photo above shows Etta aged 4 enjoying the New Forest in her new all-terrain buggy bought with donations from Ringwood & Fordingbridge Lions Club, Boparan Trust and AFK Charity.
